Buying a Spanish property, or even a Menorca property may well not be for everyone, even if you have the funds, there is a commitment to maintaining, or having the property looked after and even when you don't get the time to go there yourself, there's always a part of you wondering how the villa is standing up to the winter, the heat, the rain etc. That being said, I don't think we would change having bought the villa, we have had some superb holidays, we've made some lovely memories with the kids. Many of our friends have enjoyed visiting and the holidaymakers to whom we have let the villa over the years have all, by and large given glowing recommendations. On balance - if you are the least bit inclined to give it a try - you should. You will regret for ever not having tried it if you don't!
